Building A Brand (One Day WorkShop): €65

There is a distinct lack of design awareness in the smaller companies about creating a brand and designing food packaging around it. Though products may be high quality and unique, without successful brand and packaging design, these products may never fully reach their sales potential. A one day workshop with food producers can help them understand the basics of design and reach a better understanding of what will make their product:

Unique – communicate the unique characteristics of the product

Impact – communicate appropriate messages strongly to the target market

Distinctive – The packaging has to be distinctive so the consumer can readily identify it against competitors

The one day workshop will cover areas from brand design, naming, packaging design, formats, use of photography through to copywriting with the aim of helping the companies maximize the sales of their products through better design executions

As a starting point, we will need to gain a thorough understanding of the vision and values of the individual food companies who wish to participate in a workshop. This entails getting printed samples of all design work to date, background information, required positioning, intended personality and USPs of the products. We will also need to review competitor packaging in the same general area. Ideally we would like to have as much background information as possible ahead of a workshop with a group of clients to add as much value as possible in the sessions.
